Well, I just took another part-time job starting Monday. It’s a contract position for six months with potential. I’ll be working M-Th 9:30-3 or 10-3:30, just depending on traffic and when I actually get there: it is, after all, i270. So, this may mean I can’t go to the June 2010 reunion. While I’ve gotten the OK from JC Penney for time off for the reunion at least, I don’t want to jeopardize my real vacations to Hatteras NC and St. Martin FWI where I need significantly more time off and really can’t push it with this new ”employer.”
what?? i thought i could actually hang out with you this year! but it’s for good reason so it’s ok. : )
I might be up there after all – I have time off from June 10 evening through June 16 evening – to be at a conference in Brooklyn from 14-16; so, I was thinking of driving up to Oz late Thursday/very early Fri and then heading to my hometown Sunday after breakfast, and to Brooklyn first thing Monday morning.
