We sang a few songs at the 50th and at the close of the luncheon we all circled up…dozens and dozens of us, and sang the sorority song. The line “hair may turn white, but hearts never cold”…” really rang true. It was a very special moment.

I loved the idea of sisterhood, knowing that I would have a connection to Phi Lamb long after I graduated from Oswego. Having relationships that would last thru my adult life. I love it especially now 30 years later. My best friend is Vicki Rotondo Martuscello. I can’t ever imagine not having her in my life. We have been thru so much together, always living far apart but never far from each other’s heart.

On LinkedIn: Phi Lamb has a LinkedIn group! Phi Lambda Phi Alumnae Association on LinkedIn is a private group so you do have to request membership, but all alumnae are welcome. It’s a great resource to make professional connections and share advice and/or job openings!

Michelle Kaufmann James Sp ’07 is our PLP Liaison. She is the alumna sister responsible for organizing the “Let’s Keep the Lights On” auctions on Facebook.
This is a separate entity from the PLPAA and has raised about $6,000 thus far. These funds are from the three auctions that have been held since June 2013, as well as monetary donations received from alumnae. So far, those funds have gone toward paying the first installment of the liability insurance, back power bill, fire insurance and the upcoming back tax payment.
