This herd of little black lambs is waiting to make the trip to Oz. Thanks to the generosity of PLPAA supporting members, every pledge this year will have a new black lamb to carry and a new pledge pin!!
Phi Lambda Phi Active Sister Update
Be sure to check out the work of PLPAA’s Web Manager Jennifer Caputo who has designed a new Rush Website. The website is up and running, and the actives are excited to use this for Rush. Also, at that site, you can watch the new Phi Lambda Phi video, created by alumna Karen Remstein Rosenburg, and feel proud as we celebrate the spirit of sisterhood that transcends time!
PLPAA funds helped sisters to make great favors — Rush Phi Lambda Phi cups filled with goodies and beautiful traditional Yellow Silk Roses. Alumnae also created the “what-makes-Phi-Lamb-special” brochure and an inspiring video, both presented to prospective pledges. Thank you to Renee’ Tychoniewicz-Proulx ’96 and the Rush Committee members for spearheading this campaign.
Today, September 19th is BID DAY! Please stay tuned to Facebook for news. Our active sisters areextremely excited to nurture and instill the traditions of Phi Lambda Phi in the upcoming Fall 2014 Pledge Class. Phi Lambda Phi President Danielle Saturno said that the first Rush party went really well, even better than they had hoped for! They feel they have a good group of girls interested. They thank all the alumnae who helped us with the Involvement Fair and Rush!
Danielle reported that PLP had the best table at the Involvement & Greek Fair! “We appreciate all the support and help from PLPAA and the Alumnae. It has helped to lift a little off of our shoulders so we can focus on Rush,” she said. The Sisters also have quite a few exciting community service/fundraising events planned for this semester! One is a Bachelor Auction within the Greek family that is scheduled for October 16th!
