In Memorium Elaine Orlando Scalzo 1947-2018

It is with great sadness that we share that Elaine passed away October 12, 2018, after bravely battling brain cancer for two years. She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years Daniel and four adult children.
A native of Irondequoit in Rochester, NY, Elaine met Dan in high school and the two dated through their college years, with Dan attending many Phi Lamb formals and parties. Elaine was an elementary school teacher for 30 years in West Irondequoit and Rochester City Schools.
Sisters remember Elaine, who pledged in 1966, as quiet and sweet even though she held strongly to her values and opinions. In later years, she said that she loved being a sister and especially enjoyed her time living in the Phi Lamb House.
Those wishing to may donate in Elaine’s name to the Webster Comfort Care Home (700 Holt Rd. Webster, NY 14580.)

Rest in Peace Sister

If you are aware of a sister that has recently passed, please contact Michelle Klinger-Wellner via FB or at president@philamb.org, so that we may include all of our departed sisters in our yearly memorial.

In MemoriamIn Memory of Linda Galime Heffernan Sp’75

Many years ago, I pledged a sorority, partially because I thought it would be fun to live in the house. And it was. What I didn’t appreciate at the time was that I was making lifelong friends. Years went by in some cases but when we got together, there was easiness amongst us. Some of my best times are still spent with these friends. This is in remembrance of Linda Galime Heffernan who passed away this weekend. Linda Carlin Peters

The PLPAA Board and all the sisters of Phi Lambda Phi send thoughts and prayers to her family and friends.  Rest in peace, sister. Love in Phi Lamb.
